Gallery Maintenance

The museum is undergoing a largescale maintenance project to ensure the preservation of the collection for future visitors. Due to this work, certain galleries and individual artwork may be off view during your visit.

Galleries 275 – 276 (Jasper Johns Gallery) will be closed May 16 – June 19.
Galleries 266, 272, 273, 274 and 278 will be closed intermittently on Tuesdays and Wednesdays through June 19.
Galleries 267a, 267, 268, 269, 270, 271 will be closed June 20 – July 10.

We are working hard to keep our online collection database accurate; however, if the success of your visit relies on a specific artwork being on view - please contact VisitorServices@philamuseum.org to inquire about its status. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 72 hours, depending on the item in question.
