Museum Visit Tips

• Remind students to think about what they wrote on their KWL charts; for example, what they want to know about art.
• A museum teacher or docent will lead the tour. You do not need to prepare a lesson.
• Each student will receive a Museum Journal to record observations and responses.
• Enjoy observing your students as they look at art, discuss what they see, write their thoughts, and make their drawings.
• Stay with your students at all times.
