Every Day This Summer: Art Splash

From June 27 through September 4, all Family Programs are part of Art Splash, with daily gallery explorations, studio art creations, and imaginative play inspired by the wildlife photographs of Michael Nichols. Museum admission for kids twelve and under is always free.

From a nude painting discovered by the Monuments Men to how we got an entire teahouse, you will hear it all on this tour inspired by the most entertaining stories, anecdotes and legends associated with our collection.​​​

​​Connect art, flowers, and cocktails through fascinating stories and up-close discovery. Decode how earlier painters relied on flowers to convey specific messages within their work and the not-so-cryptic symbolism involved. Join us as Joshua Helmer, Assistant Director for Interpretation, translates works from our collection and end the tour with cocktails in the Museum.
