Art Splash Gets Wild

From June 27 through September 4, all Family Programs are part of Art Splash, with daily gallery explorations, studio art creations, and imaginative play inspired by the wildlife photographs of Michael Nichols. Museum admission for kids twelve and under is always free.

Artist Collab - Beach Memories with Nick Cassway

Local artist Nick Cassway has been a staple in the Philadelphia art scene for over twenty-five years. Relive his childhood memories of summers spent at Cape May Point with specially commissioned beach tags.

Sweet Treat - Lil' Pop Shop

Unconventional tours with unique points of view. Go on a sketching tour of our magnificent building with artist Phillip Adams. Materials provided and no drawing experience required.

Marissa Le, aka Yolo Ono, is a Philadelphia-based DJ who's played with acts such as James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, Venus X, Maluca, and Anna Lunoe, in addition to spinning for music festivals like Governor's Ball and Firefly.

7:30 p.m.
Great Stair Hall
This all-female rock group from Philadelphia brings their stylish garage-pop sound with a surf-psych spin to the Museum. Obvious influences are 60's rock, 70's punk, Motown, Spector and Meek productions, and surf and noise experimental sounds.
