Art After 5 is pleased to present a performance by John Dowell and his musical ensemble. Dowell, whose work is on view in the exhibition Full Spectrum: Prints from the Brandywine Workshop, has been exploring the relationships between the elements of composing and improvising music and painting since the mid-sixties. In his work, he focuses on the use of colors, rhythms, space, textures, shapes, harmony, linear development, and human feelings.
