The acquisition of the Aperture Foundation’s holdings of work by American photographer Paul Strand presents the Museum with an opportunity to assemble the finest and most comprehensive Strand collection in the world. Join Peter Barberie, The Brodsky Curator of Photographs, Alfred Stieglitz Center, to learn more about the importance of this seminal acquisition, and the great twentieth-century photographer who defined the modernist possibilities of the camera and the photographic medium. The talk will be followed by a reception.
