Legendary bassist Lee Smith brings together an all-star group of musicians to Art After 5. After forty years as a first-call bassist in the R & B and jazz worlds, Smith released his debut album, Sittin’ on a Secret, last year. The title refers to the compositions that Lee has been writing for decades, a half-dozen of which finally came to light on this record.

 

Explore paintings dated from 1850–1900 (including Academic Art, the School of Barbizon, and Realism) leading up to Impressionism, as well as paintings that came after Impressionism (Cézanne, Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec and the Art Nouveau movement).
