Perelman Building Architectural Tour
Tours gather in the Perelman Lobby
Please note that tours are weather dependant and will not take place in excessive heat or rain. Moderate walking is involved.
Resplendent with multicolored and gilded ornaments, and animated with sculptures carved in limestone and cast in terracotta and metal, the Ruth and Raymond G. Perelman Building is the most richly embellished example of Art Deco architecture to be erected in Philadelphia in the 1920s. Come discover it all in this fascinating tour!

Lee Smith
Legendary bassist Lee Smith brings together an all-star group of musicians to Art After 5. After forty years as a first-call bassist in the R & B and jazz worlds, Smith released his debut album,
Sittin’ on a Secret
, last year. The title refers to the compositions that Lee has been writing for decades, a half-dozen of which finally came to light on this record.

Impressionism: Before and After
Explore paintings dated from 1850–1900 (including Academic Art, the School of Barbizon, and Realism) leading up to Impressionism, as well as paintings that came after Impressionism (Cézanne, Van Gogh, Toulouse-Lautrec and the Art Nouveau movement).
