Sit Down, Play Chess!
Location: Great Stair Hall Balcony

Enjoy one of Marcel Duchamp’s favorite pastimes with an informal game of chess. Afterward, head to the exhibition Dancing around the Bride to learn more about the influence of chess on modern art, and enjoy historic chess sets in Doing Battle: European, Asian, and American Chess Sets from the Eighteenth to Twentieth Centuries, on view in the Great Stair Hall Balcony and gallery 277a.
