The Philadelphia Museum of Art offers plenty of Family Programs that allow children and parents to learn, create, and most important, have fun together. All programs and events are free. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Visitor Services Desk.

Drawing Together (all ages)
Free after Museum admission

All family members are welcome to try their drawing skills in the Museum galleries. An artist is on hand to provide materials and encouragement. Drop in anytime between noon and 2:30 p.m. to sketch, doodle, or create a masterpiece!

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is the place to be during winter break! The Museum's Wintersteen Student Center turns into a fun family destination in this free, drop-in program. Stop by to make art, play a game, or explore the world of art through children's books.

Art comes to life with interactive audio guides on American Art and Arms and Armor written especially for children ages 6–10. To learn more, inquire at the Visitor Services Desks located in the East and West entrances.

Self-Guided Family Tours
Create your own tour with free printed guides, available on a rotating basis at the West Entrance Information Desk.
