Sol LeWitt develops the concept of his drawings and brings in teams of other people to execute the work. Breaking down the notion of a singular, irreplaceable art object, the drawings are transferable and yet never the same, as they must adjust to fit new architectural spaces. They ask us to reevaluate traditional notions of permanence and impermanence, construction and destruction, ownership and execution.
