Woven Textile

"Luxuriant" design with some "bizarre" design elements; large square formed by two lengths sewn along their selvedges, edges trimmed with looped fringe woven from gilded and silver metal-wrapped threads and dark red cotton thread, backed with dark orange-red twill weave cotton; double vertical rows of similar abstract curved shapes, combined with smaller curled and feathery shapes, some with lobed edges or diapered patterning, branching small floral sprays.
