Attributed to Antonio dall' Abacco, Italian, c. 1495 - after 1567. In reverse after an engraving by Nicolas Beatrizet, French (active France and Italy), 1507/15 - c. 1565. Formerly thought to have been after Michelangelo Buonarroti, Italian, 1475 - 1564.
