LabelMariuccia Mandelli founded her Milanese boutique in 1954, naming it Krizia after a character in Plato’s unfinished dialogue on feminine vanity. Specializing in wearable knitwear and interesting architectural garments of pleated silk, Krizia designs blend the classic and the experimental. This evening ensemble of separates in glamorous gold lamé retains the relaxed fluidity of sportswear. Over a moiré skirt and sleeveless patterned top, the unconstructed coat has wide back panels that overlap but are open down the center, ensuring the shimmering pleated fabric moves gracefully. |
