Bowl with Chrysanthemums

12th century
Artist/maker unknown, Korean
The chrysanthemum was one of the most popular motifs of Korean potters for decorating celadons of the Goryeo dynasty, especially when using the inlay technique. Inlay designs in white and black clay subtly contrast with the celadon's pale blue-green color.
