Siqueiros and the Uruguayan poet Blanca Luz Brum (1905-1985) met in May 1929, married in October 1932, and separated a year later. She kept Siqueiros supplied with artist's materials while he was in prison for six months in Mexico City in 1930, and she shared his exile in Taxco the next year.
