Gallery LabelWhen Chemex introduced the "Filterjet" fan in 1951, it was advertised as "the first electric fan that filters air," without the aid of blades. Schlumbohm designed a number of products for Chemex, including a well-known coffeemaker and a water kettle.* Works in the collection are moved off view for many different reasons.
