LabelThis covered platter is one of the earliest pieces of American silver produced in the Swedish style. Yngve Olsson designed it for The Kalo Shop, which specialized in highly-refined, hand-hammered designs, in 1914, probably as a private commission. Such designs were popular, and Olsson supervised the shop's later "Norse" patterns of the late 1920s and 1930s. |
