Eric Russell (American, born 1954)
While still in high school, Eric Russell entered the Philadelphia College of Art through the Parkway Program, which allowed high school students to apply and attend classes at art colleges in the city. His application was received and approved by Olaf Skoogfors (American (born Sweden), 1930-1975) and Richard Hoffman Reinhardt (American, 1921-1998). He studied metalwork there with Robert Natalini (American, born 1946). After graduating he went into the trade working in Wesley Emmons shop with Natalini and others. He later had his own shop in Center City and exhibited at the Women's Committee's first jewelry sale and the inaugural Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show.
