Label:
Kimura Yoshiro, whose kiln is in Hiroshima, Japan, was inspired by ancient Greek and Chinese forms when he created this vase. He developed his hallmark blue glaze-seen here ranging in hue from a kingfisher aqua to a deep cobalt blue-black-while studying with the renowned Kutani ceramist Izu Zojuro in the early 1970s.
