Vivienne Westwood is famous for her subversive—even perverse—approach to fashion. In this suit she combines masterful tailoring with sadomasochistic components intended to shock. Westwood's bondage wear, created in collaboration with Malcolm McLaren, was made for several decades from the 1970s on. Beneath the double-breasted jacket, the trousers have a front fly that extends well up the back crotch seam, two vertical zippers on each leg, and an adjustable bondage strap between the legs.
