Dining at the Philadelphia Museum of Art

From a peaceful sit-down lunch to a quick sandwich, sweet, or snack on the go, the Philadelphia Museum of Art features a variety of dining options, all operated by acclaimed restaurateur Stephen Starr's catering group. We hope you'll make it a day at the Museum and join us for a meal.

Granite Hill
 

Bright, calming and airy, Granite Hill is the museum's pinnacle eatery. Here, you'll find an approachable French bistro menu filled with seasonal appetizers, entrée salads, omelets, and the freshest fish, as well as specialty cocktails and wines. Granite Hill is open for lunch, Tuesday through Saturday, dinner on Friday evenings and Sunday brunch.

The Cafeteria
 

This casual spot offers a variety of sit down and grab-and-go options. Made-to-order omelets and daily changing seasonal entrees like rotisserie chicken and beef bourguignon are available alongside lighter choices like pressed baguette sandwiches, gourmet salads, and fresh garden soups. Our pastry table is filled with just-baked macaroons, cookies and tarts.

Balcony Café
 

An ideal spot to take a break between galleries, the bright, airy Balcony Café offers French-pressed coffee from local roaster La Colombe and blended teas from local purveyor Premium Steap, as well as snacks, sandwiches, salads, and sweets.

On Friday evenings, the Great Stair Hall is transformed into an intimate cabaret for Art After 5 performances.
