Each year, approximately 75,000 students participate in Philadelphia Museum of Art programs meant to enliven their understanding of and responses to works of art. The goal of the Museum is to guide students toward a deeper and richer interpretation of the visual arts, by fostering their critical thinking and viewing skills, and by helping them to see how works of art relate to both their school curriculum and their life experiences.
Homeschool Program

Distance Learning Programs
Before, after, or even instead of a Museum tour, visit us from your classroom! These videoconferencing programs provide meaningful, interactive learning experiences, connecting the visual arts with all areas of classroom curricula. Videoconferencing lessons are a great way to bring the Museum's collections and special exhibitions into your classroom--as a stand-alone lesson or in conjunction with a Museum visit.
