THIS WAS A TRULY ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE. I WASN'T FAMILIAR WITH THE WORKS OF REMBRANDT AND HAVE BEEN VERY IMPRESSED. I APPRECIATED HIS DIFFERENT WORKS OF JESUS. IT WAS A MIND BROADENING EXPERIENCE. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR HAVING THIS DISPLAY FOR ALL TO ENJOY!!

WONDERFUL TO SEE THE ART OF A MASTER! WE HAD JUST STUDIED THE ROAD TO EMMAUS IN CHURCH THE PREVIOUS SUNDAY, SO TO SEE IT IN ART REALLY SHED SOME NEW LIGHT ON THE MESSAGE. GOD BLESS.

I enjoyed this museum a great deal! The work is quiet amazing and it was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon with my daughter, who is 11. We made up stories about all the paintings meanings and it was interesting to see we were not too far off when we read the descriptions! Nothing like explaining to an 11 year old why they decapitated people so long ago...hope she doesn't have nightmares ta'night! Ahhhh, parenting....

Great, but I just wish there was one more Portrait of Christ. Eight was definitely not enough!

I took an AP Art History course this past year, I didn't understand what my teacher meant when she said "you know a lot more than you think you do." I now understand what she meant. Seeing this exhibit, seeing Rembrandt's art up close was a truly incredible experience. Getting a closer look at the brush strokes and uses of light and dark and the interaction of the ink and paper was very cool. Thank you for sharing this exhibit with me.

Rembrandt always makes me feel all warm inside. Mmmmm... all those gorgeous rich dark browns. Better than dark coffee by a warm fire. Even the overactive AC can't contend with it.

Well done - on e thought - give out or hang magnifying glasses to enjoy the detail!
