Visiting an exhibition in person is a much richer experience than visiting online. Read the impressions of others, and questions asked for curator Dilys Blum.

True genius is a gift to all of us; this is what we have in Roberto Capucci. that is how I feel having seen this collection. I truly feel enriched. His designs, the pleating, the colors in such exquisite combinations, all make his work unforgettable!

It would have been nice to have some of the dresses on slowly revolving platforms to be able to see all sides. Some would have looked nice w/mirrors overhead.

It certainly is interesting!!!However, the vast majority of the dresses appear to be unwearable anywhere except on the runway. Most seem to be pure sculpture as the audio says the final exhibits in the show are stated by the narrators to be.As a result they are neither fish nor fowl, as a piece of sculpture which is intended to be on a person , yet is impractical to wear seems silly!!My suspicion is that many will see me as ignorant or not very understanding, which is fine with me.

I worked for many yeras in the fashion business and found that women were victoms of fashion. The clothes designed by men who did not like women It is a shame as the clothes were fanciful and unwearble. An example is high heels , corsets , bustles. Attened a lecture on this subject at the brooklyn museam many years ago as a student of fashion.

Absolutely amazing! The artist's vision of what fashion should be, could be, brings forth a line of artwear that astonishes the senses and evokes an excitement that will not easily wear off. I love it, and hope that all whom I recommend to see this exhibit will not miss it. One of the best visits I have had at the museum.

I loved that during part of the exhibition when there was no corresponding commentary, a piece of Capucci's favorite music was played. When creating the commentary for future exhibits, I would encourage the curators to continue to do this. It makes the experience richer and also just provides a nice break to the silence.
