The Associates

For more than 40 years, The Associates of the Philadelphia Museum of Art have been integral in bringing the Museum’s mission to life – by helping to support special exhibitions, groundbreaking educational programs, extensive conservation efforts, and so much more. They’ve also been having quite a bit of fun along the way. This video celebrates this important anniversary with a glimpse not only into all that the Associates do, but also how you can be a part of it.

The Associates of the Philadelphia Museum of Art are its true partners in every sense. Dedicated to the arts and Philadelphia, the Associates provide annual, unrestricted support for the Museum. Over the years, the generosity of the Associates has enabled the Museum to mount critically acclaimed special exhibitions, to develop innovative and diverse educational programs for children and adults, and to preserve its collection of profound and dazzling works of art.

In appreciation for their generosity, we encourage our Associates to take special advantage of the collections, exhibitions, and programs that their support sustains. In addition to unlimited access to the Museum’s permanent collections, these most dedicated contributors are extended admission to all exhibitions; invited to participate in specially designed exhibition previews, travel opportunities, curatorial presentations, and private tours; included in the selective distribution of catalogues and other premium Museum publications, and much more.

The Museum relies heavily on—and is profoundly grateful for—Associate support. We hope you will choose to join this key part of the Museum family.
