Sponsoring a Special Exhibition
The Philadelphia Museum of Art is among the largest art museums in the United States, showcasing more than 2,000 years of exceptional human creativity in masterpieces of painting, sculpture, works on paper, decorative arts and architectural settings from Europe, Asia and the Americas. The Museum presents more than 25 acclaimed exhibitions each year, ranging from comprehensive single-artist retrospectives to historical surveys to focused presentations that explore specific topics. Recent exhibitions made possible by the generous support of corporate sponsors include: An Eakins Masterpiece Restored: Seeing The Gross Clinic Anew (Wachovia, a Wells Fargo Company); Late Renoir (Bank of America); Picasso and the Avant-Garde in Paris (GlaxoSmithKline) Cézanne and Beyond (ADVANTA); Marcel Wanders: Daydreams (Target); Rhythms of India: The Art of Nandalal Bose (1882-1966) (Reed Smith LLP and BNY Mellon), and Frida Kahlo (Bank of America, Fundación Televisa, and Aetna). The Museum’s corporate relations team will work with you to design a sponsorship package that best meets the needs of your organization and provides you with the most meaningful benefits. Recognition varies based on the exhibition and the amount and type of sponsorship. Both exclusive and shared sponsorship opportunities are available. Art After Dark
Art After Dark, one of Philadelphia's liveliest parties for the next generation of art lovers, celebrates the Museum’s commitment to arts education, and the sharing of its collections and programs with the community. Proceeds benefit the Museum’s Division of Education, which serves individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities from throughout the region, across the country, and around the world. Corporate sponsorship is available for selected event stations--activities, performers, or interactive experiences which bring the mission of the event to the forefront—as well as for pages in the Tribute Book, a program which honors our champions in the community and is distributed to more than 500 event attendees. The benefits of corporate sponsorship may include: complimentary tickets to Art After Dark, listing on approximately 2,000 event invitations, acknowledgment in the Tribute Book, recognition on signage at the event and in other printed event-related materials, and listing in the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Developments publication. Every Family Party
For more than ten years, families have gathered at the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the Every Family Party, a wonderful opportunity for children, parents, grandparents, and friends to enjoy the Museum together while raising much-needed funds to support the Museum’s award-winning educational programs. Sponsorship allows students from our community partners--who might not otherwise be able to attend--to enjoy this exciting event. At certain levels of sponsorship, donors also have the opportunity to underwrite one of the spectacular art activities or performances that provide outlets for children to enhance their experience of the arts as something accessible, understandable, and most importantly, fun!
