![]() In addition to culturally-inclusive collections and exhibitions, the Museum’s commitment to diversity encompasses a variety of efforts that include the Diversity newsletter and the following groups: Diversity Task ForceThe Diversity Task Force seeks to make the Museum more fully reflect the rich diversity of the Philadelphia area by working with management and staff to establish a plan of action by which the Museum’s programs, collections and staffing policies are racially, ethnically, socially, and economically inclusive.Audience Development Outreach GroupThe Audience Development Outreach Group strives to increase the Museum’s multicultural, ethnic, and other non-traditional audiences and to help carry out programs to build relationships with broader populations.The Korean Heritage GroupThe Korean Heritage Group was established in May 1997. The mission of the Group includes promoting the growth and vitality of the Museum’s Korean collections through the support of Korean programs, events and exhibitions at the Museum; acting as stewards for the Korean Heritage Fund; serving as liaisons between the Museum and the Korean community; and aiding in development of outreach efforts geared toward both the Korean and general communities. |
