Events and Activities

You may register for programs that take place at Mount Pleasant and Cedar Grove in person at the Philadelphia Museum of Art's Visitor Services desks. Or to register by phone, call (215) 235-SHOW (7469). A nonrefundable service charge for each space reserved is added to all phone orders (Members $2.50, Nonmembers $3.00). There is no service charge for reservations made in the Museum.

Board the bus from the Museum with saucy characters from Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol as your guide and experience a playful version of Christmas Past, Present, and Future at three of the historic houses in Fairmount Park.

In celebration of Black History Month, the tour explores the stories of both free and enslaved people at historic mansions Mount Pleasant, Belmont, and Strawberry Mansion, and the Abolition movement to end American slavery.
