Driving Directions to the Museum

Take I-95 North (from southern New Jersey, cross the Delaware River via the Walt Whitman, Commodore Barry, or Delaware Memorial Bridge to reach I-95 North). Exit onto I-676 West. Follow directions from I-676 West (see below).From Northern Locations:
Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 4 (Route 73). Go 1 mile on Route 73 North and take the exit for Route 38 West. Take Route 38 West to Route 30 West and follow signs for the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. After crossing the bridge, follow the signs for I-676 West. Follow directions from I-676 West (see below).From I-676 West (Vine Street Expressway)
Take I-676 West to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway exit (22nd St., Museum area) on the right side. Get into the left lane of the exit ramp. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto 22nd St. into the lane that is second from the left. The Benjamin Franklin Parkway is a boulevard with two outer lanes and two inner lanes. At the intersection of Benjamin Franklin Parkway and 22nd St., turn left onto the outer lanes of the parkway. The Museum will be in front of you on the hill. Follow the sign for the Art Museum. After the sign, turn left at the first traffic light (Art Museum Dr.). Halfway up the hill, turn right into the Parking Garage, or continue ahead and turn left onto the Upper Terrace for accessible entry and limited parking.From Western Locations: Valley Forge, King of Prussia
Take I-76 East to Philadelphia. Take Exit 343 (Spring Garden St.). At the end of the exit ramp, turn left. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Art Museum Dr. Follow Art Museum Dr. behind the Museum. For accessible entry and limited parking on the Upper Terrace, take the second right. Parking Garage
Museum visitors: $12 for the first 4 hours, $2 for each additional hour.Museum members: first hour FREE, $8 for the next 4 hours, $2 for each additional hour. Parking ticket must be validated inside the Museum to receive these rates. Rates only apply during Museum hours. Member card must be shown at time of validation. The parking garage is located on the West side of the main Museum building. You may access the lot via Art Museum Drive or Waterworks Drive.
Upper Terrace
Designated accessible parking for vehicles with the appropriate disability permits are available on the Upper Terrace of the Museum. These spaces are limited and based on availability. Museum members: $8 flat rateMuseum visitors: $12

Visitor Trolley Service
A visitor shuttle provides complimentary transportation between the main Museum building, Perelman Building and Rodin Museum. The visitor shuttle operates Tuesday - Sunday, 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with service every 10-15 minutes between the main and Perelman Buildings. Wednesday - Sunday the shuttle makes hourly trips to the Rodin Museum departing the West entrance at 45 min after each hour.Alternate Parking Locations >>

The Phlash Downtown Visitor Shuttle provides direct service between Penn's Landing, Center City, and the Museum. Operated several months out of the year by the Philadelphia Trolley Works, the Phlash uses distinctive purple trolleys and runs every twelve minutes between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
