Saint Mary Magdalene

Attributed to Domenico Puligo (Domenico di Bartolomeo degli Ubaldini) (Italian (active Florence), born 1492, still active 1527)
Images of individual saints became popular for decorating homes in the early 1500s. This saint is identified as Mary Magdalene by the jar she holds, which contained the perfume she used to bathe Christ's feet.
