Menu Design, after Rubens

1907
Jacques Villon (Gaston Duchamp) (French, 1875–1963)
Another impression of this print is inscribed to Villon's young cousin Pierre Delacour on the occasion of his first communion. Villon's signature in the plate, which is not present in this trial proof, humorously acknowledges Peter Paul Rubens as the inspiration for this work: "Jacques Villon rubenxit."
