Cosmetic Box

12th - 13th century
Artist/maker unknown, Korean
This is a rare example of a twelfth-century porcelain made without the bluish-green celadon glaze so popular in Korea during the Goryeo dynasty. Inside this cosmetic box are four smaller crescent-shaped cosmetic containers surrounding one oil bottle.
