Chunghi Choo (American (born Korea), born 1938)
Chunghi Choo was born in Korea. She obtained her BFA at Ewha Women's University in Seoul, then attended graduate school at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan. She has taught jewelry and metalsmithing at the University of Iowa since 1968. In 1971 she came to Tyler School of Art to learn the electroforming process from Stanley Lechtzin. She took this knowledge back to Iowa and subsequently established an electroforming studio.
