Man's Jacket/Tunic

c. 1968
Designed by Francis Toscani , for the Botany 500 brand (American, 1915–1973) Made by H. Daroff and Sons, Inc., Philadelphia (1892–1973)
This garment can be worn either as a four-button collarless tunic or as a three-button jacket with buttoned-back lapel. The standard welted front pockets contain additional free-hanging pockets of solid brown that can be pulled out to provide the tourist or camera bug with additional storage space. In addition to its versatility, the jacket's "American Profile" cut-with broad shoulders, trim waist, and slim hips-was said to give the illusion of a ten to twenty pound weight loss.
