Probably William M. Elkins (1882-1947) and his wife Elizabeth "Lisa" C. Norris Elkins (1898-1950), Philadelphia, by 1947 [1]; Elizabeth "Lisa" C. Norris Elkins; bequest to PMA, 1950. 1. William McIntire Elkins' obituary, published in the Philadelphia Inquirer on June 13, 1947, notes that his art collection included paintings by Pissarro, Lautrec, Renoir, Matisse, Morisot, Laurence, Hicks, and Cosway.
