Calendar Page for September. The borders of this calendar page are magnificently embellished with orange suns and golden rays. The miniature below illustrates the labor (winemaking) and the zodiac sign (Libra) for the month of September—a man stands in a large barrel stomping grapes while beside him a woman in a pink gown holds a set of scales.
