I Saint George and the Dragon. n this miniature Saint George, the patron saint of England, is dressed as a knight and spears a lime-green dragon. The maiden whom he has saved from the dragon watches adoringly in the background as a man and a woman, perhaps her parents, peer from a castle surrounded by a moat.
