Gallican Psalter with Calendar, Canticles, Collects, Litany, Office of the Dead, Hours of the Virgin, and the Seven Penitential Psalms
Northeastern France, c. 1270

Walking on Water and Entry into Jerusalem. This combined Psalter and Book of Hours begins with a series of miniatures depicting the Life of Christ. On this page Christ rescues Peter from drowning and enters Jerusalem riding a donkey.
