Events and Activities

You may register for programs that take place at Mount Pleasant and Cedar Grove in person at the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Visitor Services desks. Or to register by phone, call 215-235-7469. A nonrefundable service charge for each space reserved is added to all phone orders (members $2.50, nonmembers $3.50). There is no service charge for reservations made in the Museum.

Meet in Lenfest Hall (West Foyer) 15 minutes prior to trolley departure time.
Paid tickets required
$40 ($32 members). Cost includes transportation and house admission. Museum admission not included.
Free for Museum Circle members ($500+) and above. Call Member Services at 215-684-7840 to reserve.

Tour three Fairmount Park historic homes—Cedar Grove, Ormiston Mansion, and Strawberry Mansion—and delight in unique yuletide decorations.

Explore the gallery installation The Art of the Peales with ​Carol Soltis, Project Associate Curator, and learn the Peale family’s close connection to George Washington. Then hop on the trolley to Cedar Grove and Woodford Mansion and see the homes of their political friends and foes.
