Kimball supplemented his income and put forth his own scholarly opinions by writing a steady stream of book reviews for various academic journals throughout his career. He published most frequently with "Dial" and "Art and Archaeology," and often offered reviews to journals without solicitation. His reviews focused primarily on books dealing with architectural and Early American subjects. This subseries is comprised of typescript, manuscript and printed versions of the reviews, along with a small amount of related correspondence.
