This subseries describes various national and state projects. Although these projects did not involve the Museum, Kimball or other staff members participated in them in an advisory capacity. Projects documented here include the Federal Art Project, which included the preparation of the Index of American Design, and the Federal Writers Project, specifically its American Guide Series. The file pertaining to "This Work Pays Your Community" Exhibitions Week does contain a small amount of information on the Museum's exhibit at Memorial Hall for its registrar project.
