Events and ActivitiesYou may register for programs that take place at Mount Pleasant and Cedar Grove in person at the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s Visitor Services desks. Or to register by phone, call 215-235-7469. A nonrefundable service charge for each space reserved is added to all phone orders (members $2.50, nonmembers $3.50). There is no service charge for reservations made in the Museum.

Celebrate Earth Day with a step back in time. Check out our early American kitchen garden for demonstrations and plant sales. Urbanstead’s Lisa Gaidanowicz will talk about lip balms and salves made with herbs, and visitors can make and take an herbal tea remedy.Free bus transportation leaves the Museum’s West Entrance every 30 minutes, 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Cedar Grove admission included with 2-day Museum general admission.

Fairmount Park is home to historic architecture, beautiful vistas, and significant works of public art. This walking and trolley tour explores the Waterworks, Lemon Hill, and many points of interest in the park.Please note: We’ll walk a half mile on sloped paths to the Waterworks and Lloyd Hall. Transportation available if necessary. Tour continues on the trolley through Fairmount Park to Lemon Hill, which is not wheelchair accessible. The trolley returns guests to the West Entrance.
