The museum’s a big place, and there’s a lot to see. Here are some suggestions for having a memorable visit.

If you only have a few hours

Go on a tour of the collection with folks in the know. Guided tours are offered daily and are free with admission. Or explore at your own pace with our self-guided audio tour through your mobile phone, which offers a deeper look at the museum’s greatest hits.

Advance reservations are strongly recommended. A limited number of timed tickets are available for each half-hour time slot, up to two weeks from the date you make the reservation.
