Enjoy an evening of events that explore themes of experimentation and pop culture inspired by The Shape of Time: Korean Art after 1989.

TITO_VIDA of BUBBLE_T brings their Asian/Pacific/Queer dance party to the Philadelphia Museum of Art for an evening of Asian visibility, diversity, inclusivity, and love. Come prepared to dance to cantopop, Bay Area r&b, dance pop, and if you're lucky, live Guzheng.

Formed in 2016, Bubble_T is an Asian/Pacific/Queer collective focused on supporting and lifting the community we share.

Dive deeper! Join for a 10 minute pop-up gallery talk on a specific work in The Shape of Time: Korean Art After 1989. All talks will meet at the entrance to the exhibition.

Design and carve your own block prints in bars of soap. Explore this unusual material inspired by Meekyoung Shin's sculpture Eastern Deities Descended. No experience necessary, all ages welcome.

Korean bites and a specialty cocktail inspired by the exhibition are available for purchase.

This evening is guest curated with Asian Arts Initiative, a multidisciplinary arts center in Philadelphia's Chinatown North that offers exhibitions, performances, artist residencies, youth workshops, and a community gathering space.

This event is part of the Friday Night Lounge and Art Kids program series.
