Saints Giusto and Clemente Praying for Deliverance from the Vandals

Giusto and Clemente were the patron saints of the Tuscan town of Volterra, which they were said to have saved, through miracles and prayer, from invading barbarians in about 455. The saints were also revered in other Tuscan towns. This panel comes from a parish church near Prato.
