Writer and musician James McBride presents material from his novel The Heaven & Earth Grocery Store (2023) that reflects on the everyday lives of individuals in the early 20th-century United States. McBride will perform with his band in this combined reading and musical performance.
Things to Know:
- Doors open at 6 p.m. with special access to the exhibition A Nation of Artists.
- The performance begins at 7 p.m.
- Seating is first come, first served.
- Drinks and light refreshments are available for purchase.
