Join BalletX, Philadelphia’s premier contemporary ballet, for a joyful afternoon of dance on the East Terrace of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. This pop-up performance brings bold contemporary ballet out of the theater and into one of Philadelphia’s most iconic public spaces.
Enjoy a lively program featuring highlights from BalletX’s repertory that are athletic, inventive, and full of personality, alongside a special performance by the company’s inspiring young Dream Team dancers. You can also join a One Dance, One Philly tutorial and demonstration, where audiences of all ages and experience levels are invited to learn steps and move together.
This event is free; bring friends and family to celebrate the arts with us in the heart of Philadelphia.
This event is part of BalletX’s 20 for 20 initiative, presented by PNC Arts Alive.

- The performance will be outdoors
- Seating is first come, first served.
- Seating is on the stairs. Limited accessible seating will also be available.
- This program is free and does not include museum admission.
