Due to poor air quality conditions, Rodin Garden Bar and The Crossing Choir performance is cancelled this evening. Join us inside the main building for the Pay What You Wish Friday Nights with live jazz featuring the James Fernando Trio.
The Crossing, "America's most astonishing choir" (NY Times), will perform a collection of works written to reflect on a wide range of contemporary issues such as our relationship to the Earth, our responsibility to pay it forward and "embracing our discomfort" to understand others. Each work samples quotes from a variety of people (such as a 12th-century troubadour, President Obama, and Senator Warren) and is composed with multiple musical styles, exploring the colors of Philadelphia's four-time Grammy-winning choir range. The concert is conducted by Donald Nally.
This event is free; bring friends and family to celebrate the arts with us in the heart of Philadelphia.
