This installation features a new selection of work from the museum’s constantly growing collection of contemporary American crafts. Included are ceramics by Syd Carpenter, George Johnson, Warren Mackenzie, Richard Shaw, Rudolf Staffel, and Toshiko Takaezu; furniture by Wendell Castle, James Krenov, Sam Maloof, and Judy Kensley McKie; works in wood by David Ellsworth, Mark Lindquist, Ed Moulthrop, Peter Pierobon, and Robert Stocksdale; glass by Dale Chihuly, Richard Marquis, and William Morris; baskets by Gyongy Laky and John McQueen; and textiles by Sheila Hicks and Ed Rossback.
