Some works are temporarily off view while we prepare to lend artworks to the Museum of Modern Art for the special exhibition Marcel Duchamp, on view in New York from April 12 through August 2. The Philadelphia Museum of Art will present this exhibition in the Dorrance Galleries starting in October 2026.
Galleries 282 and 283 will reopen August 8 – 24 for viewing of Marcel Duchamp’s "The Large Glass and Étant donnés", before closing again on August 24 – October 7 for the installation of "Marcel Duchamp" which opens on October 10.
